Three Chambered Moneybox

Doug is inspired by the many different shapes and sizes of moneyboxes that were made in the country potteries across Britain. These with three chambers are rare but still found today. A rookery in a tree and a hidden owl. Doug spent three days decorating this piece before covering the whole thing in white slip and thus allowing it all to rehydrate running the very real risk of the birds starting to take a plunge. Thankfully, and because of his years of experience, it remained in one piece.
